Q1
I've found two jobs that seem a good fit. One suits my project management skills, the other my business analyst skills. Should I apply to both?
RCUpload your resume. Better still, upload all of them, so ResumeRuler can build a complete profile of your skills and score it against each job.
You get a fit score out of 100 for each role, and ResumeRuler pinpoints which resume is the best fit for it. Below 60, the job is probably not a good fit. Above 90, apply.

OK, but each resume is still missing skills I've highlighted well in the other ones.
RCNo worries. ResumeRuler looks at your profile and the requirements of each job, then prompts you to fill the gaps.
It tailors your resume for that job with all the skills you have experience for, and calculates the fit score of your new boosted resume.

What about ATS? What is it, and why should I care?
RCATS stands for Applicant Tracking System. With thousands of applicants, companies use ATS to rank candidates. If your resume's ATS score for a job is below 90%, it is very likely nobody will ever read it.
The higher your ATS score for that job, the better your chances of landing the interview. When ResumeRuler boosts your resume, it is also maximizing your ATS score for that job.

Wow, cool. So once I get my improved resume, should I use it to apply for other jobs?
RCNot quite. Every job is different, and the resume boosted for one job may not be the best fit for another. Boost each job on its own.

Q5
Why should I use ResumeRuler and not Claude or ChatGPT?
RCWe did develop ResumeRuler using leading AI engines.
ResumeRuler is so good because it adds multiple sophisticated algorithms, tuned over 5,000+ job applications, with the AI aimed at one specific task: scoring and improving your resume fit.
Q6
Good point. What if I use ResumeRuler and my score is too low? Can I always boost it enough to apply?
RCIf your initial score is too low, you should probably look at other jobs. Boosting may not bring the score high enough to recommend applying.
Boosting is still based on your own skills. If the fit is poor, ResumeRuler will not artificially inflate your score. Don't fabricate anything: it fires back at interview time.

Q7
OK, what if I get an interview? Will ResumeRuler help?
RCFirst off, congratulations. You will be the one performing at the interview and securing the offer.
But many candidates reported that the interviewer asked exactly what ResumeRuler had pointed out as a weakness in their job report. Make sure you are ready to address those specific points.
